Podcast: Karl Barth's witness

I have just added a new podcast about the theology of Karl Barth. It’s about 13 minutes long, and you can listen to it here, or you can get my podcast feed here.

Anja and I both really enjoyed listening to this - thoroughly refreshing.

Thanks Ben,

you should take your "Karl Barth evenings" on tour. And I'm delighted to hear that "boring ways of speaking" have no place in theology!

Ben, is it possible to make available your little booklet of Barth's quotations?

Excellent… much appreciated! Keep it coming good brother. I’ve often said give me a donkey and a bible and I’ll be on my way. Enjoy, ron

Ben, that was fantastic . . . you should start your own radio show and devote the show to Barth and his theology. I very much enjoyed this, it was uplifting and informative.

Hey Ben,
This was terrific stuff to chew on. I went ahead and posted a link to it at my Barth website. The idea for a Barth radioshow has been a dream of mine - perhaps you can fulfill it.

A Barth dinner party...what a unique idea. I suppose one could also throw a Calvin dinner party, and have a burning at the stake...It would be like a Murder Mystery night!

Thanks for these comments -- I'm glad you enjoyed the podcast.

Unfortunately, Edmund, I don't have an electronic copy of the booklet, since I had it made at a print-shop. I suppose I could possibly scan a copy one of these days....

Ben,

I loved this podcast. When I found your blog a month ago or so, what really drew me in was a quote I saw by Karl Barth, and then I saw your links, and I thought..this is a blog I need to read. I was taught my love for Barth by my professor Ray Anderson from Fuller Theological Seminary, who studied under Torrance. I took a class on Barth from him, and that changed me forever. Thanks for your work.
