Check out the provocative post over at Even the Devils Believe.

I am reminded of the old jingle by Edwin Markham (1852-1940):

He drew a circle that shut me out -
Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But love and I had the wit to win:
We drew a circle that took him in!

A wild and profligate God, a God who squanders good seed and wastes time looking for runts, a God who sits loose to ledgers and border controls - well, he's not quite sound - is he? - he makes us nervous.
