Happy at last

If posting here has been a bit irregular and/or boring in recent weeks, it’s because I’ve been spending every spare moment working on my new home study (formerly the garage). It’s now finished at last, so I’m exhausted but happy...

Looks great Ben. I am green with envy. Yet, if I had a couch in my study that was as comfortable as that one looks I may not get quite as much work done.

Great stuff - nice to see that you have given priority to the "Good Book" ;)

I can't seen any bible software icons on your desktop or dock. Do you run any? I've just downloaded the Mac alpha version of Libronix ... and have just started to try Accordance as well.

Still not finished your Rowan Williams? :-)

Also note the heavy curtains to reduce book fading. Good thing Qld doesn't have daylight saving or this would only be a bigger problem.

Murray, I'm delighted to hear that the Mac version of Libronix has finally been released — I'll download it right away! I've been running some Bible software in Windows (using Boot Camp), but I've been looking forward to the Mac release of Libronix. At the moment I'm using some excellent Logos software — and they'll soon be releasing the new revised edition of Barth's Church Dogmatics as well. I'll be posting more on this soon...

If it's Bible software you want, then its Accordance you are after.

Somebody always has to name another brand...

Anyway, Ben, you're study looks fantastic. I don't think I could fit one like that in my studio apartment though...

It sure likes heaven. By the way, cool book holder thingy.

I meant "looks like heaven," but I suppose the study in a sense likes heaven, at least the book titles would suggest that.

Very nice indeed.

Ben,
Looks swish. All you need is a copy of KD in your top drawer! Seeing the picture of your study in Forest Lake makes me miss my study in Browns Plains! But also, if you're a Mac User then "Accordance" is definitely the Software to use!!!

Stanley Hauerwas once asked a room of people to raise their hands if they use Macs....

Nice!

I am so jealous.

Why would Hauerwas care whether his audience uses Macs? I'm curious...

Ben,

It looks pretty nice. Congratulations! You should be proud of your hard work.

Ben,

Looking good! Someone needs to write a theology of greed because I am struggling...
