Eastern Easter
Kevin Edgecomb has posted a series of Holy Week hymns from the Eastern Orthodox Church, including the Paschal troparion – one of the most powerful of all Christian hymns:
Χριστος ανεστη εκ νεκρων
θανατω θανατον πατησας
και τοις εν τοις μνημασι
ζωην χαρισαμενος
Christ is risen from the dead,
Trampling down death by death,
And to those in the tombs
Giving life!

You'll find the troparion and others listed there.
This year, Eastern Easter and Western Easter are on the same day! Glory!
The bummer of the easters being on the same day is that I don't get to participate in both as I have done the past few years. Really, I feel the Orthodox do it better than we protties, but my home church would crucify me for skipping Easter with them... :(
Well, Aric, you know the solution to that: convert!
(And people say we Orthodox don't proselytize! Ha!)
