Caption contest winner
Well, the caption contest has been won by a clean sweep. The commenter identified as "Fat" received an overwhelming majority of votes for the caption: "I got it from the toilet - it's the only water I can reach." Congratulations!

I don't believe I deserve the accolade but the books look great. I will have to let you know of my choice after the weekend and some consultation with my lovely wife. How does one choose between ministry, Wesley and sin?
I did rather like the runner-up entry - it was my vote.
It was an interesting coincidence Anthony but I have been Fat since early school days and Ben is assuredly not fat. (insert carefully googled picture of a grinning round face here)

"Sin is winning." Yeah, too much travel can have that effect.
I'll get the book to you some time this week.

I have enjoyed immersing myself in sin whilst I explored the glittering vices.
One comment on page 30 is worth quoting here: "By the thirteenth century, therefore, not only theologeons and clerics, but lay people too, knew the vices."
I used the book as a basis for a Christmas Dinner address to the local Masons which was well received (although my Santa Claus Ho Ho Ho tie wasn't quite up to their dress standards.
I will email my address to Ben - loosely based on the book, condensed into 8 minutes Reader's Digest style, it is a cross between a book review and out and out plagiarism.
