The best bus sign: cast your vote
Well, it’s hard to pick a winner – there were so many great entries in the bus sign caption contest. So I’ve chosen seven finalists, and you can now vote for your favourite in the poll at the top of the sidebar.
Meanwhile, here’s one that didn’t quite make it into the list of finalists – but it did give me a great laugh:

It was difficult to choose between these entries... the economy entry was my runner up though my vote went to recycle.
The best things about this contest was realizing I am not the only person with a deeply disturbing sense of humor. I'm deeply grateful to all of the atheists who made this insanity possible.
Um, for the record, should I end up losing that vote (which I probably will), I'm okay with my voters buying me a free book instead of receiving one from Ben.
Just sayin'.
Kiwi buses reject atheist ad campaign
AN atheist group is considering taking legal action after ads encouraging New Zealanders to consider their religious beliefs were rejected by the national bus company.
NZ Bus tentatively approved the advertisement which read: "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life."
But after copping a "significant reaction" from staff and the public, the company backtracked on its approval.
"NZ Bus has the right to decline advertising that may, in its perception, be considered controversial or divisive," a company spokeswoman, Siobhan O'Donovan, said.
The Atheist Bus Campaign raised more than $NZ22,000 ($17,000) to fund the New Zealand project - similar ads have run in Australia.
Campaign spokesman Simon Fisher said NZ Bus had allowed religious advertising in the past.
"It's really disappointing. It does seem to show that there is a bit of a double standard out there when it comes to ads like this," he said.
"We need to get people in the street to stop and look and think about that they believe, and why they believe these things."
Mr Fisher said the group had been unable to compromise with NZ Bus and was considering taking the case to the Human Rights Review Tribunal.
Another option was slapping the message in other highly visible ad spaces like billboards and bus shelters, Mr Fisher said.

I wonder what their yardstick of success is?
