Are you sure you're not thinking of the USA? Seems like you got a lot more plurality in your system than we in ours. When I look at the Wiki entry for Voting Systems I feel like we Americans must be the least creative among world democracies. I was talking up the Australian voting system to someone yesterday, though I admit I barely knew much at all.
Hi Chris -- yes, I think we've got a good voting system here. But in this post, I'm just talking about our two major parties in the current election (their ethos and policies are virtually identical). Sorry for the confusion!
